One of the most sensational shows in London's West End was a revival of Peter Shaffer's 1973 hit 'Equus'... Telling the tale of a phyciatrist who treats a boy who has a pathological fascination with horses.. Shaffer based it on a true case of a 17 year old boy who blinded six horses in Suffolk... A controversial show anyway, this production broke box office records as it also starred fresh from 'Harry Potter', Daniel Radcliffe, who infamously had to appear naked in the show.. I caught the show in April 2007 and athough it would not be to everyones tastes, I found it a powerful evening of theatre.... Also appearing in this production were Richard Griffiths and Jenny Agutter.. The original Broadway production starring Anthony Hopkins and Peter Firth won a Tony Award for Best Play...
