MYSELF WITH TIPPI AND RYAN TURBIDY (SHOWS HOST) BEFORE THE SHOW..

Had great night out at the RTE studios for a recording of The Late Late Show, one of the world's longest running chat show, which celebrates it's 50th Anniversary next Friday night! I was lucky to experience the action from the Green room and backstage as guest of the legendary Tippi Hedren and celebrity producer/booker Karen Cadle... Before the show Tippi was thrilled to chat to Irish President Higgins in the Green room..

                                                                               Tippi was in Ireland as guest of Newbridge Silver who have opened a new extension to their ever expanding and popular Museum of Style Icons in Newbridge... As a prelude to Tippi's arrival onto the studio set, Newbridge supplied a selection of costumes from classic films, originally worn by true Hollywood legends.. From Bette Davis lavish gown from 'The Virgin Queen', to Audrey Hepburn's outfit from 'Funny Face'.. Tippi's green suit from the classic Hitchcock shocker 'The Birds' was also onset... Tippi appeared today at the Newbridge museum to open the new extension and to sign autographs...

TIPPI AT NEWBRIDGE MUSEUM TODAY WITH TV3'S LISA CANNON

 Karen Cadle who looks after Tippi and who has wonderful stories, after spending a lifetime with legends, from Bette Davis to Lana Turner... Judy Garland to Audrey Hepburn, is always a joy to spend time with. I look forward to meeting the girls, Tippi and Karen in August, when Tippi has an event at the BFI in London as part of their forthcoming Hitchcock season.. Watch this space!
