Was delighted to be asked to the press night for Joan's smash hit show 'One Night With Joan' which opened at the Leicester Square Theatre on Friday night.. This is the third time the theatre has ran the show to sellout audiences. A three week run was envisaged for this run, but it was then decided to split performances between London and the provinces. Joan will tour the show for 9

performances outside London, with 6 more at the Leicester Square.. The show which takes us through the ups and downs of Joan's life and career is packed with stories, clips and photo's, covering Joan's legendary life. I have seen the show on many an occasion as far back as 2006 when it first embarked on an extensive tour of the UK, it has since went through many changes and has has successful runs in Australia, Amsterdam and New York and all over the USA. I was delighted to chat to Glynis Barber and hubby Michael Brandon after the show at the after drinks reception. Both friends of Joan's and Jackie's they were a delight. Michael spoke about working with Joan on 'Dynasty The Reunion'. Glynis just finished filming an episode of 'Marple', we spoke about how Joan appeared in one sometime ago. Glynis has a wonderful blog at ..http://www.agelessbyglynisabarber.com ....

Earlier on Friday I attended a recording of Loose Women with Joan at the ITV Studios, where she was joined on the show by McFly's Harry Judd. It was lovely to see Jane McDonald again and look forward to catching her in Birmingham in October..

After the show on Friday night Joan had to do some press shots for the Telegraph Diary pages and she looked stunning in Mark Zunino's wonderful designs for her, a beaded cocktail dress and a leather Bolero jacket..

Joan has a further performance tonight in London and it's Guildford, Dartford, Basingstoke, Birmingham, Manchester, St Alban's and Bournemouth, before finishing up in London again for the final three nights.. Joan mentioned this will be her last time to do the show in the UK. She has not ruled out dates in America, but with two films due out later in the year, not to mention a new book in September and many other exciting ventures.. There is lots more to look forward from Joan, where One Night would simply not be enough!
