Las Vegas is filled with comedians, many of which resort to over the top and rude jokes to garner a laugh.. But one of the more subtler funny ladies around, yet still hilarious is Rita Rudner who has been appearing in Las Vegas since 2001 has sold millions of tickets.. She started her career as a Broadway dancer appearing in hit shows Follies and Mack and Mabel.. Also an actress she first hit the big time, film wise with the classic 'Peter's Friends' in which she also wrote the screenplay with her husband Martin Bergman. Rita's brand of comedy is observational and is similar to that of another of my favourite ladies, British comedy legend Victoria Wood.  |
