SARAH BRIGHTMAN .. HAREM TOUR .. RDS SIMMONSCOURT .. OCTOBER 2004 ..
One of favourite songbirds whom we don't see enough of is the always excellent Sarah Brightman.. You are always guaranteed a spectacular show from Sarah and this Arabian Nights themed show based around her album 'Harem' was no exception.. The show was originally advertised for The Point Theatre, but when the stage set was revealed, it was discovered that the set was much too big for the venue.. They would have had to take out too many seats which had already been sold! The show was then rescheduled for the end of her tour and housed in the far from elegant RDS Simmonscourt, which is usually home to horse shows and smelt of it! Nevertheless we enjoyed the show from a front row view and it made up for the lack of luxury!
