MAMA MIA .. MANDALAY BAY LAS VEGAS .. OCTOBER 2007 ..
'Mama Mia' is a show which is definately a worldwide sensation, ever since it's debut in 1999 at London's Prince Edward, it has played to millions of theatregoers.. It moved to the Prince of Wales theatre in 2004 and this September it moves to the Novello theatre.. The show is also a smash on Broadway and all over the world, this production I attended in 2007 in Las Vegas, although I have seen the London run and a date here in Dublin at The Point theatre... This Las Vegas production opened in 2003 and closed in 2009, to be replaced by The Lion King, which has since closed.. The show needs no introduction, just to say it is centered around the music of legendary supergroup Abba.. Featuring a roll call of smash hit songs, colourful costumes and an energetic cast, the show never fails to entertain...
