As a regular visitor to Vegas, I try and catch as many shows as possible. Since it Gala Premiere in June 2006, I have attended three performances of "Love" at The Mirage.Although not a fan of The Beatles, in the context of the show, the music is quite effective. This performance I attended on 7th October 2007. "Love" is written and directed by Dominic Champagne, with the music directed by Sir George Martin and his son Giles. The show combines the re-produced and re-imagined music of The Beatles, with a circus based and athletic stage performance.
The show is performed in the "Love" theater which was specially built at a cost of $100 million and it replaced the Siegfried & Roy theater. It was created by French designer Jean Rabasse, it has 2,013 seats set around a central stage, each seat is fitted with three speakers, including a pair in the headrest. In all the theater house 6,341 speakers for superb sound. A show well worth seeing and I plan to revisit the world of "Love" when I hit Vegas for Christmas this year! Shown here are an ad, promo card and ticket for the show..
